About CommunityAid Zambia
CommunityAid Zambia is a local Zambian non-profit, rural development & humanitarian organization dedicated to provide quality of life to rural people by ending hunger and poverty.
We work together with the communities using different livelihoods interventions such as; Agriculture & livestock production, climate change & Natural Resources Management, Health, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Education & Human Rights among others.
CAZ is implementing its activities in Katete, Chadiza, Vubwi, Chipangali, Sinda, Petauke, Mambwe & Nyimba of Eastern Province and other regions. This has strengthened partnerships & networking & impact of its programs.
CommunityAid Zambia Project Interventions
CommunityAid Zambia conducted an international research collaboration involving scientists from University of Benin, University of Nigeria, University of Zambia, University of Pretoria- South Africa, University of Hohenheim- Germany. With funding from German Research Council (DFG).
Research Title: Towards better understanding of indigenous-cattle genotype resilience in the changing climatic environment and intensified crop-livestock production systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.
